I've been able to put a corner radius on a couple of end mills by offhand grinding using a radius gage to check my progress, then honing the edge. If I am careful to preserve the geometry at the cutting edge seems to work ok, but it's kind of a finicky, time-consuming job. Any tiny mistake would cause one corner to do all the cutting.
